Borussia Dortmund want Real Madrid loanee Achraf Hakimi to remain past the summertime at the club, however, the decision ultimately rests at the participant’s hands. Achraf Hakimi has established himself as one of the best in the world after going to Borussia Dortmund on loan 18 months before. The Moroccan international has cemented his place in the Dortmund starting XI and has been one of the team’s largest attacking threats. With his loan deal due to expire at the end of the year, rumours have been worried. Real Madrid are eager for him to come back to the capital. However, Borussia Dortmund will also be interested in signing him on a permanent transport, according to Ruhr Nachrichten. Hakimi told the newspaper he is pleased to be at Borussia Dortmund. But he added that he has not made a determination on his team for next year.
“I am improving in many different aspects. I’m gradually learning, and I still don’t see myself at the end of my development.”
When asked whether he feels more like a Madridista or a Borusse, Hakimi said, “Both! My heart is divided between Madrid and Dortmund.”
“It is still six months until the summer, there are still a lot of games. What I can say is that right now I am very happy to be at Borussia Dortmund. I feel very comfortable.”
The value of Hakimi has skyrocketed at the Westfalenstadion, and he will not come cheap even when Real Madrid do decide to sell him. The Black and Yellows do have a matching right for Hakimi, which means that they might have to be informed. Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in a movement for Hakimi, but his words suggest he would not be keen on swapping Dortmund for Bavaria. Borussia Dortmund have been connected with two potential replacements for Hakimi this week, with Lukas Klostermann and Max Aarons believed to be potential targets.
